Leipzig Games Convention 2008 - Bag Design

The bag was designed as a give-away to draw visitors to the NCsoft stand. The bag is quite large and has long straps so it can be carried on the shoulder, perfect for carrying all the ‘loot’ given away on other stands, while advertising the game Aion.

I produced the design for uncoated stock so that the bag could be recycled, which led to some big challenges to overcome with printing. The Aion artwork is subtle, with pastel colours, which takes a lot of colour balancing to get right. The final result was spot-on and the bag was a big success. It was mentioned in the award the NCsoft stand was awarded by OnlineWelten:

Once you have entered the visitor halls of the Leipzig exhibition grounds, your attention was drawn to the winged game of NCsoft. Every third visitor you saw carried one of these prettily printed Aion bags. The apparently inexhaustible source of these carrier bags was the NCsoft booth in hall 3.
